Nansha Marina – from “Gold” to “Platinum”
On October 14th 2018, it was officially informed by MIA (Marina Industries Association, Australia) that Nansha Marina had successfully passed the “platinum Gold Anchor” accreditation, and from now on is globally acknowledged as the Platinum Gold Anchor Marina—the highest standard that can be awarded for Marina service. In 2011 Nansha Marina became the first Marina in Mainland China to receive the “Five Gold Anchor” status, which was once again confirmed by the 2015 assessment. In 2018 Nansha Marina reached its new milestone—has become the highest quality Marina according to the “Global Gold Anchor Scheme”.
The awarding of the Platinum Five Gold Anchor status means the international acknowledgement of Nansha Marina state-of the-arts facilities, top operational standards, service quality and team’s high professionalism.
MIA Chairman Mr. Andrew Chapman stated:
“The awarding of platinum Gold Anchor accreditation to Nansha Marina is a reflection of the excellence in the marinas facilities and services. Achievement of platinum status has come from a long term commitment by the marinas management team and its owners to continual improvement. The high quality on-shore facilities including dining and boat lifting combined with a modern pontoon system for the safe berthing of vessels are key attributes of this world class marina”.
