Ocean Marina Jomtien achieves Platinum 5 Gold Anchor

The Marina Industries Association (MIA) has announced that Ocean Marina Jomtien in Pattaya, Thailand, has achieved the country’s first Platinum 5 Gold Anchor status. The award marks the first time a marina in Thailand has received the highest level of accreditation.

Marina on the Gulf of Thailand

Ocean Marina Jomtien is located along the Gulf of Thailand and offers over 450 berths for vessels up to 75-metre. The marina includes full vessel maintenance facilities, a variety of on-site marine service providers and leisure amenities.

Andrew Chapman CMM, The Marina Industries Association’s (MIA) President, visited the marina a number of times and was not surprised by the assessment outcome and expressed, “In addition to its berthing and maintenance services, this impressive marina complex incorporates a full-service resort including a 76-room hotel, an array of food and beverage options and high-quality leisure facilities including indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a gymnasium, steam rooms and saunas.  Business needs can even be taken care of on the go, with access to a full range of business services, including meeting spaces.”
